

Mission Statement
International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) from its
all Worldwide Campuses is Providing Medical Education and
Training to All without International Borders regardless of
race, national origin, religion, sex, or age, whoever desires to
devote the extensive time and effort necessary to practice
medicine. IUSOM provides a comprehensive Basic Sciences
and Clinical Medicine Education enabling students to
complete a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Degree. IUSOM Main
Campus and all its Branch Campuses situated in the
different parts of the world also offer Pre-Medical (PreMed)
Program.
Moreover, IUSOM offers Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical
Cardiology (PGDCC) Program Education (total two
semesters; duration of each semester being 3 months (12
weeks)) via its another Branch Campus, namely,
International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) –
Michigan Clinical Campus in Dearborn, Michigan, USA at Ark
Medical Center (AMC) and AMC-Affiliated Hospitals located
in Michigan USA.
The Board of Trustees Members at International University
School of Medicine (IUSOM) would like to be independent
and for them, freedom for the medical education as well as
technological innovative scientific research is very
important. They think that as founders and directors of their
school of medicine they can provide excellent medical
education & training on the one hand and can do very high
quality innovative scientific research work in the field of
medicine on the other. In both International University School
of Medicine (IUSOM) Foundation & IUSOM International
Medical Consultant Inc., they want to use bureaucratic rules
and regulations as little as possible.
Objectives
- To establish both non-profit and profitable
technological innovative institution and entity of
international reputation with eventual aims and
objectives being to provide education and training to
students to finally grant Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)
Degrees to them.
- To educate and train M.D. seeking students strictly in
accordance to the International Norms & Charter and
Guidelines of medical profession education with the
eventual goal of preparing them for USMLE (United
States Medical Licensing Examination) enabling them
to practice medicine in USA, Canada and of course in
The Netherlands and Dutch Caribbean (Formerly
Netherlands Antilles) and in other countries.
- To Provide PGDCC (Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical
Cardiology) Program Education to students from
Branch Campus, namely, International University
School of Medicine (IUSOM) – Michigan Clinical
Campus in Dearborn, Michigan, USA at Ark Medical
Center (AMC) and AMC-Affiliated Hospitals located in
Michigan USA.
- To set up a technological innovative research
institution and medical educational institution that shall
provide leadership to the rest of the world.
- To invest most of the profits into the technological
innovative sector of the environmental and health care
research activities.
Goal
The rapid evolution of medical science, along with the
changing role of the physician in society, poses challenges
for the traditional approach to medical education. IUSOM
goal is to provide quality education, preparing IUSOM
graduates to be outstanding in medicine and related fields,
by differentiating the educational program from that of other
Caribbean medical schools. In so doing, applicants will seek
out International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) on
the basis of its distinctive approach and values.
